Explorers Garden in Brest

Located at the mouth of the Penfeld river opposite the castle in the Recouvrance area, the Explorers' garden, founded in 1694, is crossed as it travels the world.

And for good reason: it is home to botanical species from around the world, reported by different explorers and botanists left Brest (Bougainville ...).

With its gazebo walkway, it offers walkers stunning views of the castle, the Penfeld river and the military harbour with in postcard background, the huge bay that opens.

Rue de la Pointe, Recouvrance neighborhood.
